The DenTek Toothbrush Sanitizer is battery operated. You’ll need just two AAA batteries, which makes the product great for travel and home use.
How do I clean and maintain it?
The DenTek Toothbrush Sanitizer is easy to use and clean. Simply wipe off the entire sanitizer with a damp cloth. Do not immerse it or rinse it under water. For optimal performance, we suggest you use alkaline batteries. And don’t mix old and new batteries.
Do I need to change the ultraviolet bulb?
The DenTek Toothbrush Sanitizer comes equipped with a long-lasting bulb that will burn for the life of the product. The UV bulb cannot be replaced. The UV bulb will last approximately 11,000 hours—or about 82,000 cycles. That’s a lot of sanitizing!
Will I need to replace the product?
It’s a good idea to replace the DenTek Toothbrush Sanitizer after 14 to 18 months of use to ensure maximum cleaning. The batteries will need to be replaced after about every 400 minutes (50 cycles) of use.
Can I use it for multiple toothbrushes?
Absolutely. Sanitizing only takes a few minutes each time it's put to use – and it kills the germs and bacteria – so it is safe to share.
Yes, the DenTek Toothbrush Sanitizer is safe for all toothbrushes. However, we recommend that an adult assist children under the age of 10.
